ABOUT
RICHMOND BREEN
Award-Winning Landscape Designer & Sculptor
Richmond Breen has been practicing the art of stone for more than four decades. The fourth-generation Nevadan and UC Davis Alumnus has won numerous awards from the Nevada Landscaping Association and has been featured in a variety of print publications for his unique landscape designs and sculptures.
The Reno-born artist melds existing natural elements with individually
curated stones, handcrafted woodworks, metallic forms, and glass elements to shape stunning landscapes and sculptures. With a degree in Environmental Planning and Management at his back he has transformed innumerable clients' lives in a tangible & long-lasting way.
Richmond’s oeuvre ranges from historical sculptures of rescued Reno City Hall stones and reclaimed Northern Californian redwood timbers to exquisitely modern multi-acre landscapes encompassing water features, dry-set stone walls, patios, walkways, and botanic gardens. As an exemplar of traditional masonry practice, Richmond has consistently created time-tested customized works without the use of mortar.
